Youtube is considering plans which will allow you to avoid watching ads on all videos for a subscription fee. A potential subscription rate has not been determined.
You might not have to watch full screen ads, but you know you will have all sorts of advertisements as banners on the sides if not over the video itself at the bottom.
My problem is that they are impossible to add on if you are on a mobile device like my Android phone or Ipad. I'd pay it if it was maybe a $2 or $3 monthly fee. But $10+? Hell naw!
That is a huge problem for Google looking to implement such a model: a free way to bypass ads already exists! I use a similar add-on for Google chrome and haven't seen an ad on Youtube for months!

Youtube has ads? I didn't even know that there were still ads on the internet.
I already have an ad-free subscription. Using adblockplus, I get no ads in the video, no adds on the site anywhere.
