One of our kids at the TaiKwonDo studio is 8 years old and 5'2" Every time we go to a competition everyone wants proof as to his age. LOL
As far as a 10 year old pretending that she is 15 so she can date. I have teen agers and we watch the heck out of them as it is. My 8 year old daughter is the youngest in the family and we will be watching her like a hawk when she gets to be dating age. As far as the computer and devices, they are monitored by us. The computer is in the living room and we watch what our kids are doing and where they have been. I applaud the father for being a dad and getting things taken care of. We need more parents like him.

I used to babysit for an NBA player. He was 7 ft 1 and he was married to a six feet tall former model. I'm 5 7 and that girl towered over me when she was a fourth grader. Stunningly beautiful little redhead. I didn't keep in touch with them, but I'll bet Dad had a helluva time when she hit her teens.
