I would hope the opposite reaction would take place. I don't see the sense in threatening someone for a baby wrapped in a USA flag. I look at it as patriotism.
I'd bet a good part of the people wetting themselves about this don't give a crap about the Flag Code and are just offended by its appearance. I don't hear this much whining when someone burns one.
There were no ill intentions behind this, and I see why the image appeals to people. I wouldn't say I'm offended by the image. That said, I'm not crazy about using the Flag as a prop. and Technically it goes against the Flag Code. But most people don't even realize there is such a thing as a Flag Code, as evidenced by the number of flags that fly in my neighborhood after dark or in the rain with no direct illumination.
I see a guy with the 2 things he loves and 2 things that he would lay down his life for.
I also see the future of the country wrapped up in that flag.
I don't see what the big deal is. Some are angry and see it as unpatriotic and a disgrace to the flag.
I say we have seen much worse things happen to our flag.

True. And I've seen a much worse flag flown. If I see a USA flag flown, I have the utmost respect for the person flying it.
The same people crying about this would say how beautiful if it was a Confederate flag
Perhaps, and said persons might look at me with disdain for not liking the Confederate flag.
