No. Even the liberal progressive set who love to gentrify places, won't even go there now. It's quickly falling to ruin as Western Civilization continues to disappear from the city. At least they caught the shooter of this poor business owner trying to just work and do his job....after reading the article and find out he is a seasoned criminal, it made me sick that this person had robbed other numerous times before...YET they keep letting them out before they should....that is the problem too...You are sentenced to 20 years..you STAY there 20 years....they let him out early....big vicious circle...

Louisiana has the death penalty, and uses it. Doesn't stop criminals from committing such crimes down there. Louisiana is THE most murderous state in the nation, with New Orleans often having a murder rate worse than Detroit.
