British girls were helped into Syria by spy from U.S.-led coalition | Reuters

Quote:
(Reuters) - A spy who worked for a country in the U.S.-led coalition that is fighting Islamic State had helped three British girls to cross into Syria to join the militants and has been caught, the Turkish foreign minister said on Thursday.

The minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, told broadcaster A Haber in an interview: "He was caught. It turned out to be someone who works for the intelligence of a country from the coalition."
i wonder what the ulterior motive was here?

So, he was working for our side yet supplying women for the other side? Well, I wouldn't be trusting his info anymore.

Canada. He was facilitating the recruitment of people for ISIS in Syria and ISIL in Iraq. He originally come from Jordan before working for Canadian intelligence. It's not unlike Operation Cyclone in Afghanistan where the CIA outsourced recruiting for Al Qaeda and other groups to Pakistan and Saudi intel.
