Actually throughout history it mostly has been. In many times and cultures you could even kill them without repercussions. You are correct that it is no longer acceptable in many 1st world nations, but for the most part spanking, which is not beating, still is. It may be frowned upon in certain circles, but with few exceptions it does remain legal and acceptable.

While I cannot see what the specifics were, Mr. Dukes has not surprisingly had run-ins with the law before.
(I did an arrest record search and he has two, not sure if that includes the latest shooting.)

As such, it's probably a safe bet that his gun was not legal.

What a lovely dad, bet the son will visit him when the A-hole is old and wasting away in a retirement home years from now.

Hopefully daddy will be in prison, serving orange for other thugs in prison.

I looked up the record and found that the gun used was a .357!

Now, that is one hard-a$$ed kid!

Either that, or when he was hit, he was flat-out BOOKIN'!

The old man is hard to please, first he tells his lazy son to get the lead out of his azz, then he adds more lead to it..

If he died, the gun nuts would be saying "guns don't kill people, orange juice kills people."

Just wondering. What comes first in this situation? Being a "moron" which could result in what we know now or having a gun and somehow becoming a "moron"? (as a result of other ingredients such as alcohol, attitude, mental state at the moment, personality, etc.)
