I'm quite sure we would, had the guy been killed while running away from the cops or after being subdued on the ground. At least I hope we would.

I'm sure that would be the case as everyone is outraged over the guy that got shot in the back, and murder charges were rightfully filed.

The big difference in my mind is white people "In general" don't see an adversarial relationship existing between the police and the population, and automatically sided with Law Enforcement in this case. If the perps were black, Al Sharpton and Eric Holder would be there, as they were in Ferguson, which could be justified in the minds of many.
