With his liberal use of cursing and the N word, I don't think he's quite the 'role model' in my eyes.
I couldn't understand some of what he was saying, and it would have been much more insightful had he offered a simple explanation of what happened, instead of taking on the very same persona as the person he 'put in place.'
One has to speak the language of the criminals in order to get their point across. He seems to be a law abiding citizen who wants to get the word out in language that is understood by those who are likely to be the gang-bangers, thugs, muggers, addicts, kingpins, etc. who would kill you without any rhyme or reason. I agree it was hard to watch/listen to the whole video, but I had to admire him for saying what no other race could say to the black, criminal community. He would make a great DOC (Department of Corrections) officer. I worked with a DOC officer similar to this guy, he was very well respected by staff and inmates alike. He knew the game the inmates played and didn't let them get away with anything.
You can maybe criticize his vernacular a little, but I think he did a good job of telling it like it is, and for many of these punks his message would come through very clearly.
