None of us are casting stones. If you had the Bible knowledge that you think you have, you would know that. We're speaking out on behavior the Bible condemns and warns us to avoid.
OH, please, Evangelicals change spouses like underwear....I would rather myself and my children hang out with a flamboyant gay than a thumper. At least the flamboyant gay person is more honest and less hypocritical.
Gay abs. See the definition below. I don't make this stuff up. ... and given the definition, I believe that broccoli combined with gym torture and nacho abstinence is likely how they get them.
gay abs
ɡā abz
noun
Originally derived from the Seinfeld reference of "single thin and neat" which created the pop cultural stereotype that gay men take better care of their appearance than straight men. Both sartorially and with respect to physical fitness.
1. Abs that one can actually see. Apparent to the eye and not covered by a Sunday NFL nacho induced layer of lard.
That is excellent!
I watched Seinfield and missed this. Thank you and good day, sir!

That's BS and you know it. There's a lot of behaviors the Bible condemns and warns Christians to avoid, but some of those behaviors seem to matter to some people a lot more than others.
When fundies start calling to shut down seafood restaurants and stop patronizing grocery stores that carry shellfish because the Bible calls eating them an abomination, then I'll start believing they aren't using the Bible as a fig leaf to justify their own prejudice.
I feel pity for many of these people even though I vehemently disagree with their anti-gay stances. It must be difficult to hate who you are so much. All the more reason to accept homosexuality as a norm. It is normal, it is natural and its ok.

Oh, please don't pin the behaviors of a few evangelicals on everybody. You know better than that. That's like saying all Muslims are bad because of a few Islamic terrorists.
I've said it many times, anybody who believes sexual orientation is a choice is most likely bi-sexual or closet gay. I also believe that many of the people who really obsess over gay people are really fighting against what they are suppressing. But, that's just my opinion.
This reminds me of the Joe South lyrics in "Games People Play": (from memory) "They sing 'glory hallelujah' then they sock it to you, in the name of the Lord."
Why do people think if you disagree with homosexuality, you are secretly gay. Thats as dumb as saying I hate broccoli, so im suppressing my secret desire for broccoli.
Terrible analogy. People don't like certain foods because they taste bad to the specific individual. That's a rational response to an unpleasant sensory cue. In contrast, there is no rational reason to hate someone for their sexual orientation.

I believe The Evangelical divorce rate is as high as any population, which means your divorce rate in your community is, nearly, 50%, it's not a "few". . BTW don't most Evangelicals hate Muslims? Why would you care if all Muslims are lumped as terrorists?
