I'm surprised. I thought that these were all white biker gangs involved in the scuffle.

The Bandidos have always been multi-racial. Others, like the Hell's Angels aren't.

Really a lot of those guys are vets, and so are a lot of cops. Combat can really screw up a person and harden them for life. I would be surprised if that retired cop wasn't a biker first. Many of them have been on both sides of law enforcement.

His age isn't unusual, as many of the biker gangs were founded in the late 60s by vets who came home with big chips on their shoulders. A lot of them are still alive, and geezers or not, their lives still center around their club. Te biker gangs don't have many dropouts; once you're in, you're in for life.

I think the real low lifes are people that swallow the propaganda spewed by a bunch of lying cops without any questions at all.

Why? He is retired and he can do what he wants. Has it been proven that he was actually involved in the incident or is he one them that got arrested just because they were there?

Quite an assumption that he is now a criminal.

By the way: Not all who ride motorcyles or are involved in a motorcycle club are "lowlifes".

Don Lenon of CNN commented in the bikers saying , God what's wrong with these people , what on earths happening ect ect so shocked , funny he didn't react like that when his buddies were burning down buildings and rioting.

Retired means the guy is a private citizen. He's NOT a cop.

These guys seem to have major anger issues.

Not so shocking.

Years ago, I had some old guy tell me straight out he'd been a biker gang member and a cop at the same time, and it wasn't because he was undercover.

When you think about it, people with a "joiner" mentality aren't going to be that picky about the group they join.

Agreed ,while i'm not a big fan of bikers i find the whole situation not to be the normal way biker gangs operate, rival gangs dont generally get together in such an open manner and if they knew there were several dozen swat cops in the parking lot i doubt they would have shown up at all.
The whole thing sounds like a setup to me.Reprisals may be forth coming over the next few years as bikers have long memories when it comes to dealing with their adversaries.
