Please answer my question. The victim has not made any statements regarding what happened. How is it that you know what happened?
How is it possible that no victims knew what happened, yet Jim Bob told the police in 2006 that he learned of the matter from a victim? Those two statements contradict each other.
How do you know what happened? Jim Bob said he learned it from the victims (as in his daughter, not the babysitter). He said they took Josh to the babysitters house to apologize for what he did, however, the babysitter wasn't aware that it had even took place. This is the same babysitter that is now suing...... 12 years later.
Or maybe the fact that a young teen boy copped a feel on her breast while she was asleep didn't seem like a reason to sue someone for a large payday. However, 12 years later, that payday can be so much more! Oh the trauma she must have dealt with and only a lump sum payday will suffice.

I don't know what happened. Like you, I can only read the police report and listen to the statements of those involved. And when I do that, I cannot help but notice the inconsistencies between what Jim Bob stated in 2006 to the police and what he stated in his Fox interview. Also, the inconsistency between what Jim Bob stated in 2006 to the police and what Michelle stated in 2006 to the police.

So if a teenager touched your daughter sexually while she slept, you would be fine with it and just say "boys will be boys"?
If I caught a teen boy copping a feel on my preteen daughter while she was sleeping I'd punch him in the head a couple of times, literally toss him out my door, and then give him a strongly worded threat that contained a lot of colorful language. If it never happened again that would be the end of it.
