Her religion is Islamic and her complexion is Arabian. In this thread we are discussing a scarf used as a covering that covers the hair and neck only. Mentioning other types of clothing is a divergence meant to dilute the topic at hand.

That was just silly, and you know it. Divergence? Hardly. It's perfectly relevant to the conversation. Concealing one's appearance in certain locations is simply not allowed.

Then by your logic, any person with long hair should tie it all back since we both know that in some hair styles parts of the face are covered by such hair. Long hair is more concealing than a headscarf which actually pulls all the hair back and shows more facial characteristics and not less.

Don't know about the rules where you live, but the DMV will ask you to get your hair out of your face before they take your picture.

And all this racism talk is crap. If you want to go with a freedom of expression argument, why can't people wear tank tops and flip flops into nice restaurants? It's called a dress code, and it's generally applied evenly to all patrons.

Now you're just grasping at straws.

As for long hair---at least if it is pulled back, it is still seen. A person with long hair that is pulled back is not concealing their hair. In fact, when given a description of a criminal, the police will note that s/he has (for example) long curly brown hair that was pulled back. Who knows even what a Muslim with a head covering that completely obscures her hair, what her hair is like?

Ah, but they want to have their cake and eat it too, don't you know? The freedom and prosperity of Judeo-Christian civilization plus the restrictions of Islam (which they think should apply to everyone).

Why should those Americans who happen to be Muslim move to the Middle East?

I would imagine so they can live in a Islamic dominated culture that isn't so oppressive as ours. All you have to do is to look at any Islamic Republic to see what Islam has to offer. It's all cherries and icecream

They should be allowed to wear their Jihad-hats anywhere and everywhere, religious freedom.
