All the great efforts at city and county levels to focus development strategically, provide transportation options, and minimize energy consumption is just common sense because people are thinking about more than themselves and reducing their impact. It's not mandated by some shadow global entity.

Man, the conspiracies folks on the fringes of society come up with.

You are a jewel, you did a skim of the WIKI article.
What do you call a conspiracy when one doesn't exist? What if those who are supposedly conspiring are just committing their crimes openly for all to see?

There are no more conspiracies or theories for this reason. Clinton, Bush or Obama didn't/don't hide their crimes. They just do them and then lie about them in congressional committee hearings. They are criminals. Agenda 21 is a crime against mankind - read the document.

BTW - 8B people would fit on the Eurasian continent easily freeing up the rest of the world...basically the end game of Agenda 21. Did you read where the powerful minds that be suggest 500M is the limit? No, you skimmed.

Who is behind it all?

Get back to us when you do some research.

Read somewhere that you can move the entire world to Texas and the population density would still be less than Manhattan.

Wikipedia? Agenda 21 has been a running joke among the educated class for many years now. Propagandists have swept up many less critical thinkers in its web of deceit.

We've proven you literally have no understanding of climate change and rather just have some visceral reaction against it based on your radical political affiliations.

With your 8 billion people in Eurasia, we also know how little you understand about population and sustainability. It's not a matter of fitting people on the earth. Of course there's room to put people. If you ever travel, you'll see how much room there is. The problem is resources, food, energy, etc...

What's sad is that people like you see every effort to make the world a better place as some conspiracy against you. You're the type who rant against a light rail project in a community meeting because you think your government-subsidized car lifestyle is mandated by God and market-demand for an alternative is some government take-over.

It's sad, really. I have nothing else to say to you. You're just not well informed on these topics and wrapped up in paranoia. There's really nowhere to begin a discussion of merit.

Be well. I hope you don't waste your life in this fit of paranoia about every effort to make the world a little greener, less polluting.

Again, overpopulation has nothing to do with literally running out of space to put people.
There's vast books, research, and academic inquiries on each of these topics. It's bizarre to me that you all hold opinions on a topic having read none of them.

Bluefly, you have refused to answer my simple question: Has there been any sustained warming in any area with reliable temperature records going back a significant amount of time, other than some increase in nighttime minimums due to UHI?

Nevertheless, you're correct that the vast government spending that built and sustains suburban lifestyles is incredibly collectivist, what with government subsidizing suburban lifestyles, building massive interstates on taxpayer backs, forcing people into automobiles, and subsidizing fossil fuel industries.

However, part of the evolution beyond that destructive sprawl lifestyle dependent upon redistribution is finding innovative and more sustainable, more livable, more market-oriented ways of living. We don't need to be controlled by government's mandates. We can walk, bike, eat natural foods, and reclaim our freedom to choose away from the bureaucrats.
And if the ecological movement were simply about rational persuasion and individual action, I would have no problem with it.

And maybe you personally are not advocating for a massive collectivist interventionist intrusion.

However, the AGW movement is all about the agenda pushed forward by the IPCC, as shown in the table:
http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...ActGrFozbNmbiw

And you can't argue that they aren't throwing in everything in the Socialist sink.

Why are they piggybacking gender inequality and income inequality and "affordable" housing in a global warming strategy? And why the extensive social engineering? It's disgusting and I won't stand for it. Hell the IPCC ecofascist manifesto doesn't even attempt to smuggle in the inclusion of the entire gamut of the altruist-collectivist handbook. They put it all in a table, including the kitchen sink, the kitchen, and the whole whorehouse.

Individual rights are more important than the environment. In fact, if we are to live in the decrepit world envisioned under eco-fascism as a requirement for future generations, then let's just blow the whole world up, because such a system is not worth living under for anyone, now, or later.

For those that expect me to believe all the people associated with or are working for these societies including NASA and NOAA are all lying about their scientific findings and conclusions of those findings and expect me to believe all those people are perpetrating some sort of hoax/conspiracy on the issue of Global Warming.
Sorry i aint buying it.

And where did all those predicted more frequent and severe hurricanes go?

Bluefly's list of organizations which posit that humans cause climate change is impressive.

Personally, I've never been arrogant enough to believe the earth's climate revolves around me. (Guess I gotta work on that...)

CO2 has very little specific heat capacity, also Al Gore said the north pole would be completely gone by now. BUT, if Global Warming alarmists don't want to use their head and believe whatever the want to believe the answer is kind of simple. Go out and buy an e85 conversion kit for about 300 dollars and put it into your car. Next and every time you go to pump put in e85 at your nearest fuel station. There you go free-market capitalism at work...
