I really am surprised at how much support Trump has by Republicans, even if you are anti-immigration or whatever, this man is clearly not fit to be president.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that immigrants, whether legal or illegal, are less likely to commit crime than US born citizens.
Easy to say but harder to actually justify <bold>.
Why isn't he "fit to be president"? Because he says what he thinks instead of spouting lies written by a speech writer that he knows he'll renege on?
Probably once there's a legal path to immigration. Currently there is none, unless you have family in the U.S. or special skills.
The people who came over the border illegally couldn't come legally. That's the whole point. They didn't risk death and deal with the drug gangs ferrying people over just for the hell of it.
No matter how many you let in legally there will be more who want to come in, and will do so illegally. You clearly believe that living legally the US is a human right. You’d be on much firmer intellectual ground if you just advocated open borders. At least there is an argument there.
