Nah, she'd already reproduced twice. But what a sad happening. My heart goes out to her and her children.

Already been pointed out multiple times in this thread, but having kids already does not disqualify one from being a Darwin award winner.

French tourist dies trying to take selfie at Thai waterfall

Quote:
A French tourist has died after falling from a waterfall in Thailand while attempting to take a selfie.

The 33-year-old man died on Thursday after he slipped and fell from the Na Mueang 2 waterfall on the Thai island of Koh Samui -- the same spot where a Spanish tourist died in a fall in July, the AFP news agency reported.

Unlike a lot of posters who engage in this sad thread, I take no smug pleasure in the misfortune of others.

However, I do think society is better off without someone who would do such a dangerous this as described above.

JbgUsa, you have to admit this is a very grim and ugly thread you started.

Laughing at other people's deaths is something most people are unwilling to do.

But I have to agree with the math equation poster. It's better that he died instead of a cop who came to do a well check on him in the future.

I started the thread over four years ago. In hindsight I might have lodged it in Psychology. But there is nothing wrong, within limits, in seeing humor in grim tings, as long as it's at no one's direct expense.
