Why is everyone assuming he's retarded just because he's in special ed classes? My high school had special ed classes but none of the students were full-blown retarded. My nephew is in special ed classes because he won't settle the hell down or act his age. This guy could easily just be very stupid or very disruptive.
Surprised they can keep him out of school if not convicted.
MD school law allows the local school system to not allow students charged with a felony to not attend school. Though other arrangements, such as tutoring or a Home Teacher, must be made.
