Do you ever post on any forums that have nothing to do with politics or currents? Sometimes lightening up is a good thing.

From reading your other posts - you are definitely an elitist and liberal. Scandinavian pancakes?? You are like many in gov't so far removed from the real world and how real people live in it.
The only reason this guy stole the flag is to get his 15 minutes of fame on youtube this week while this topic is hot - next week - he'll do something else.

It was only divided because The Union felt the need to kill anyone who wished to leave and start their own country.
It is ironic that the truly great advances of the 19th century - railroad consolidation, refined oil, electricity and steel - were all developed by The North. Turns out they didn't need The South at all.
How do you know the guy who took the flag is poor, disenfranchised, or has less than you? How do you know he wants your pity? Or support?
That's what I want to know.
I couldn't get any of that off the video, all I got was a guy stealing a flag off some truck. I got nothing of his social status, wealth or what he posses.
As a former prison guard, we call his type...job security.
What I saw in the video was damage to private property.
Literally my way or the highway. No discussion, not even any acknowledgement for the rights of others, just I don't like it, I destroy it.
So now, how about we see somebody walking around with their pants hanging down around their knees, their underoos hanging out for the world to see, we grab them, pull those pants back up and send them on their way? I Mean, anything goes, right?
