Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested early Sunday morning in Florida on a misdemeanor battery charge after allegedly punching a boy in the face and threatening to kill his family.
...Kromer, 48, has been accused of pushing one of the boys to the ground and punching him in the face after throwing the fishing pole into the water.
This is the same guy who called out Jay Cutler and went to the press about how Cutler had lost his fellow teammates. This guy isn't exactly a model of restraint. He needs to be fired. No adult should ever put a hand on a child like this, regardless of what the child may have done. I have no problem calling this man a thug. Thugs try and bully and intimidate people that they think are incapable of fighting back. Hope the NFL bans this man. He also needs to serve time, though I am sure he will find a way to avoid jail time.
That article was so sketchy on details. How old was the kid he punched?
Age matters as the defense of a middle age man punching a minor in the face but when a Florida State football player hits a female classmate (same age), he is automatically a thug and he could have just as easily walked away?
This father is also setting a fine example for his son.

Not sure what this has to do with the FSU players (two within a few days) hitting women. They are all thugs.
I doubt anyone will defend the coach, but it would be nice to have some perspective - did he punch a 100lb 12 yr old boy or a physically mature 17 yr old boy?
A quick Google search pulled up the following:
Quote:
A source who spoke with Alex Marvez of FOX Sports defended Kromer, saying that the coach was being threatened and had trouble seeing the victims.
"It was dark out. He couldn't see the people," the source said. "The kids were belligerent and threatened him. Bottom line, they stole his property and he couldn't identify them because it was dark out and they threatened him."
Punching people isn't good, but if it's dark and a belligerent physically/vocally mature male steals your property and threatens you - I could see words being exchanged and something bad happening. Like I said, if it's a squeaky sounding scrawny 12 yr old...that's a totally different story. Think back to high school, a lot of guys could pass for grown men - especially with facial hair.
Common, he was just trying to toughen up a few wussy Millennials.
Besides, based on the definitions I have seen on this forum, "thug" has to wear a low riding pair of pants.
Mick
The only people that are defining thug as someone with low riding pants are the race baiters. Thug has no color regardless of how many times you and others try to make it so.
