That's what I'm thinking...as bad as the mob is (Italian? Albanian?) are they as bad as the Mexican cartel? I doubt it.

LOL, he's saying "Trumpet who ?" right now.

This is theater for the masses.
Both Chapo and Trump work for the same organization in different ways; Chapo gives the DEA/CIA they're cut of the drug money and Trump is the Judas Goat siphoning votes away from Rand Paul so that Jeb gets the nomination and then only a gang member, ie Hillary or Jeb can win. What Trump and Chapo might not yet realize though is that, whatever deal they have in place is only temporary. At some point their usefulness will end and then they might find themselves truly vulnerable.

Mexican cartels are very brazen and ballsy (unlike the Italians who were very secretive and tried to avoid drawing attention to themselves), so I wouldn't totally put it past them to go after Trump (through that would be a stupid move long term since Trump is also a very powerful man)....The reason the Cartels can get away with such "ballsyness" is because they operate in a corrupt less developed country/region with little to fear from the Mexican government....On the other hand the Italian Mob operated in NYC/USA which is obviously much more developed/less corrupt and they wouldn't have lasted long at all if they weren't extremely secretive...

Mexicans don't have much of a presence on the East Coast, so I think Trump should be relatively safe....He could be more likely to be taken out in Arizona, Cali, Texas etc.

We will have to see what happens....

I hope you are not in charge of Mr. Trump's security detail . . .

Let's see...

Billionaire silver spoon real estate baron who longs to be President of the United States vs. bilionaire gangster who controls the largest, most violent drug cartel in the world.

Guess who the smart money is betting on.

Wouldn't this guy having Trump killed just whip the American public into an even bigger frenzy about securing the border? If guys like him are on the other side...

If "El Chapo" went after Trump I fully expect that the American public would whip themselves into such a frenzy that militia groups and other paramilitary types would invade Mexico. There would also likely be widespread targeting of innocent Mexican civilians.

This IMO is the only thing that is keeping Trump from being harmed. The Mexicans might be full of Latino machismo but they arent that stupid.
