And he can't even remember what foot he got the medical deferment for? Must have been a real problem, that foot.

Military service should be treated and scrutinized just like any other government service.

Oh, yes, and what branch did you serve in? As I said, I always love it when the military record is scrutinized by the chicken hawks.

I don't need to "serve" to have an opinon. As a taxpayer I get to have a say about anything and everthing I choose. Joining the military is no different than any other job.

His fifth deferment was because he had bone spurs in his heels. It was used in 1969, after he was out of college, because he drew a high number in December 1969.

To be in the combat position where you can be captured as a POW is heroic.

MSNBC had an interview this morning with McCain and that was brought up...apparently he objected to the ads and that tack and tried to keep the campaign from going there, but apparently the candidates themselves don't have a great deal of say in campaign strategy (I know he would never have picked Palin if she wasn't forced on him by his handlers)

So Bo Bergdahl is a "hero" for being captured in Iraq?

McCain dragged down Palin as a candidate. She had approval numbers unheard of by any politictian. IF it were not for John McCain and HIS handlers, she would be running right now.

If you don't see the difference between the two then you're just being obtuse.
