This is an interesting read. Written by a guy who works for FEE, so you can be sure he's as anti-progressive as you can be, and is not using the term "fascism" as a smear, but rather to signify a whole and robust political ideology that can clearly be extracted from Trump's speeches.
Very interesting article........seems to me describes the last 2 Presidents even.
From the link.......
This is how strongmen take over countries. They say some true things, boldly, and conjure up visions of national greatness under their leadership. They’ve got the flags, the music, the hype, the hysteria, the resources, and they work to extract that thing in many people that seeks heroes and momentous struggles in which they can prove their greatness.

Exactly. And they always try and divide. You notice that he picked a black man to tell a story about his death at the hands of a Mexican immigrant? There's a subtle attempt there to drive a wedge between racial groups. And a lot of it is all about "trusting" him with the power. That's what you'll notice his supporters saying, "I trust Trump!" It's weird.
Have you ever heard a candidate saying that "We're going to make nuclear weapons mean something again," or, "when I'm president, if I want that Ford plant to move back to the U.S., trust me, they'll do it"? This would be a whole new era of tyranny by an American president. He'd make the Obama and Bush years look like Jeffersonian democracy.

It is not tyranny. It is public policy (they may be the same thing). So you want to build all sorts of barriers to manufacturing here in the form of labor and environmental laws then leave the barn door open for them to move to Mexico, violate all those laws there then ship back the product? What kind of pro labor are you?

Bahahahahaha WOW! You sure do seem to know a lot about me and what I'd recommend for public policy. Which environmental and labor regulations did I recommend, exactly? I don't seem to remember recommending any to anyone, ever.
