Italian authorities stopped Snoop Dog from leaving the country with a suitcase containing $422,000 cash. Money laundering laws say that amounts over $11,000 must be declared. Half the money was returned with the remainder to be returned after penalties are assessed and deducted - unlike the US where authorities keep the cash while you attempt to appeal. Snoop Dog says the money was legitimately earned and he was paid in cash for his European concerts. I suspect the IRS will be taking a deeper look at his finances.

He claims it was to pay his band while they were traveling in Europe.

I guess I don't know enough about Snoop Dogg to say he's a scumbag. Do you have stories about him? I just consider him a rapper who smokes pot.

That's a heck of a lot of cash to be carrying in a suitcase.

Having to declare your own money - More evidence that governments are nothing more than gangs.

He's being harassed left and right for nothing. He shouldn't do anymore European tours if that's how he's gonna be treated.

Snoop is probably used to being allowed to get away with shenanigans in the US with that black privilege.
