Officer Middlebrooks in Alabama plots to kill David Bias, calls him a n*****, yet the city lets him keep his job.
This is reminiscent of this NYPD officer who was caught on tape saying he fried another n*****.
Of course, a certain segment of the american population will accuse black people of using the race card, and being paranoid.
"An Alabama officer gets to keep his job after being caught contemplating the murder of a black man and skewing the evidence to make it look like ‘self-defense’. The case was settled out of court. But the audio recording made it out. Officer Troy Middlebrooks was heard on tape suggesting the killing of Vincent Bias – a man recently released on bail for drug-related offenses – then advocating playing it off as self-defense."
I read about this cop a couple of days ago. This happened in 2013 I believe and is just now getting reported. Imo, this cop should be terminated and find another line of work because if he were to be involved in a shootout where the perp was shot and killed, that incident in 2013 will come back and haunt him. So for his sake, he really should find another line of work. You would think his superviser (who is black) would have fired him but maybe he was pressured to keep him on...who knows?
He would “f*cking kill” Bias, “And before the police got there, I’d f*cking put marks all over my sh*t and make it look like he was trying to f*cking kill me. I god-damn guarantee you. “What would it look like? Self-f*cking-defense,” he adds in the recording obtained by the British newspaper.
Quote:
Once on the scene, he tried to convince the (white) relative to kill “that n*****” and proceeds to explain how he would do it
This warrants charges. The story certainly was not overblown.
Yet another evidence of mistreatment of minorities at the hands of white officers.

You forgot to put the part where he was talking to Bias's brother-in-law, was talking about the threats Bias made against his family, and that if he were Bias' brother-in-law, that is what he'd do. That is CLEARLY hypothetical.

The officer, as stated in the article, had a personal beef with Bias stemming from an earlier encounter. He was personally angered with Bias. In all cases, the threats he made would normally warrant charges. Apparently not in Alabama.

They were quick to settle with Bias. Middlebrooks should have been fired. He sounds a bit unhinged.
Did you miss the "plot to kill" portion of the sentence you quoted? You don't want to hold officers of the law to a higher standard than entertainers?
I quoted the entire sentence.
