In 6th grade there was a teacher who bullied a student. Not to this degree, but he even made up a derogatory song about him and would sing it in class. If anyone was nice to this boy, the teacher would turn his attention on that person. He would even shout things out in the hall after this boy.
I had not thought of that in years. I hope he, and these ladies, rot in hell....well if I believe in hell.
I saw two assaults by teachers when I was in school (a long time ago)... one in primary, one in high school. In primary, a native boy got cuffed on the ear by the Vice Principal (it bled) and in high school, a girl got kicked in the arse for sneaking past the teacher at the door. He was a beast and everyone was afraid of him.
Nothing was reported in either case. It was just the "norm" back then.
How incredibly sad. A parent who attempted to report this, was referred to the school system. The very system that turned a blind eye. The police are in dire need of learning to file reports and follow thru.
These adults already are being shown leniency..Bail at $1500.
Times really haven't changed...Folks continue to bully ...As the article affirms.

This really isn't that uncommon. When I was a kid I'd estimate about 20% of the teachers actively participated in or encouraged bullying. Another 60% to 70% knew it was going on, but turned a blind eye. Maybe 10% tried to do something about it. And the remainder where so clueless they didn't know what was happening in their own classrooms.
One of the most insidious ways they supported bullying was the bully could do what they wanted to you, but if you fought back, you would then be in trouble for fighting.
[quote=woxyroxme;47994668]These two should not even be school janitors let alone teachers.
Do you realize how many hard-working people you just disparaged?
