That does not address the question. It's silly to fire someone for speaking a word.

I'm pretty sure most people here that want him fired are talking more about the plot to kill rather than his use of the N word.

Ahh. So that part was thrown in just to purger him instead of dealing with the actual facts of the matter.

Because Freedom Of Speech ≠ freedom from consequences, and rappers aren't public servants...

You aren't using "purger" correctly. And besides that it does help to clarify what type of person he is and he has no business wearing a badge.

It makes it a hate crime and there is a federal law against that. You might disagree with the law, but it is still the law. A good law actually.

He shouldn't be a cop anymore because he no longer has any credibility. Any criminal could bring a lawsuit against the police department if he arrested them and would likely get a settlement. The man is a HUGE liability to his department.

He speculated on how to kill a citizen to that person's relative, while on duty. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. It indicates a lack of intelligence and poor self-control. Neither is a quality you want in someone with the power to arrest you.

Ah, nice to see the enlightened people of C-D making excuses for this excellent police officer.
