Why should someone be fired because they say the word n******? Rappers use it all the time.
Millions of us whites and blacks Go though our daily lives not using the N-word. What is so hard about not wanting a, PUBLIC OFFICIAL to use the damn word
Did you miss the part where is was NOT a "plot to kill"?
Police have to be held to a higher standard. This guy is surrounded by enough controversy with the alleged plot to kill and his choice of hate speech. That is all. I know YOU don't care and would pin a medal on the guy, but many of us don't want our law enforcement behaving in such a way.

You know the president just used the word?
I agree with you about not wanting anyone, especially public figures using it. Even though I grew up during a time when it was not politically incorrect to use the word, I was raised not to. I also am not a fan of rappers using it so prolifically.

There was no plot.
I know you would like to have him executed because he's a cop, but most of us just feel he should lose his job and not be in law enforcement again.
This whole post is ridiculous! It aint no sin unless you actually do the act! Talk is talk, and we all know talk is cheap. Lets move along folks. Nothing to see here.

The President used it in the context of discussing racism. Not the same at all.

IT certainly appears as there was never a plot or any real contemplation.
However, this cop seems to be a bit of hot head, and I personally don't believe he should be on any police force.
Yep. I listened to the audio, and the officer sounds like a hillbilly who talks too much. It sounds like he's talking to a victim, which is really inappropriate. He should be giving advice and helping them, not talking about what he'd do to someone if they came at him. He needs some mandatory training on how to interact with people and what's appropriate, and he needs to be warned to keep his opinions to himself. I definitely think some desk time and disciplinary action needs to be given to him, but I don't know if he should be fired.
At no time during the audio did I think he was serious about plotting to kill anyone. I think this is a great case of media sensationalism. Police are human too, but they often wear microphones and forget it.
