John Edwards and Bill Cosby are "scummy" and both well deserved their "fall from grace". Bill Cosby is/was a sexual predator and John Edwards was screwing around on his wife when she was dying from cancer and even fathered a child with his mistress. The Duggars? Ummmm.....I think "a high profile family with a TV reality show suitable for family viewing trying to keep a dark family secret from becoming public knowlege" describes them better.

I find their religious beliefs absolutely disgusting. However, they are not the only people who hold those beliefs. I also note Michelle Duggar has no problem with calling homosexuals pedophiles with no basis whatsoever, while sheltering her own heterosexual pedophile son from his crimes.
They are homeschooled by their mother or older siblings and forbidden to attend college. None of them have any specialized training or skills in trades and don't have the physicality or attitude to perform unskilled manual labor jobs. What type of employer is looking for barely literate religious nuts with no real skills accustomed to wealth, fame and a pampered lifestyle?
They are not forbidden to attend college. One of the older kids is away at college now. The Duggar kids were all raised to be responsible & hardworking. One of the Duggar boys is a police officer.

No, there have been no more incidents. Josh was FOURTEEN YEARS OLD when this happened. What 14-year-old boy ISN'T curious about boobs?! He's not a pedophile. He was a child when it happened, and it's long in the past. Marc Paolella, when you were a young teen, did you ever think about boobs? If you say "no," then you're either lying or you've forgotten that children are and always have been sexually curious. This is nothing new, and has been blown WAY out of proportion by the media.

Whatever they did, it worked. JOSH IS FINE NOW and he's been fine ever since coming home from his construction job/work therapy. Josh is not a child molester. He was a kid who was curious just like millions of other kids have done the same thing. He learned his lesson and he's fine now.

The Duggar kids have been raised very well. While most kids sit on their butts in school 40 hours a week, the Duggar kids not only learned their three R's but ALSO learned home construction, vehicle maintenance, culinary skills, missionary work, childcare, and more. The Duggars aren't "breeding stock." They're raising upstanding, productive, caring citizens.

The policeman gave Josh a stern talking-to, and apparently it worked. What the policeman did in his free time, he's paying the price for now. And the man heading the construction site was not the police officer. It was a completely different person. Do not conflate all of the matters into one.

A pedophile is an adult who has a sexual attraction to children. As far as is known Josh Duggar does not fit that definition. I find the Duggar's religious beliefs weird but not "disgusting".
Some of the practices and beliefs of some Muslims we hear about from time to time are what I find "disgusting". Read what Iran's former supreme leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, had to say about bestiality, sex with prepubescent girls and even the rape of infants.

Some colleges welcome homeschooled children. Other colleges would welcome them if they got their GED.
In the college I went to, the kids who had been homeschooled were more decent, well-adjusted, intelligent students than anyone else.
A lot of homeschooled kids are that way. Homeschooled kids don't usually have to deal with the BS public schooled kids do such as bullying, dumbed down curriculum, troublemakers, crowded classrooms, age segregation, etc.
You call 'a stern talking to' by a friend/LEO (who was not long after convicted of child pornography) 'therapy'? and effective? Yikes. More than likely he was taught the tools of the 'trade'. Scary.
