College student and unarmed my hind end, he was a criminal armed with a 2 ton battering ram.
Vandalism is not a violent crime, don't try to make it one. He did not attempt to hit anyone with the car.

How do you know? Did he get out of the car to check inside before running his car through the widow? driving are car into a business is violence. Stop trying to make this into some graffiti incident.

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. You and I both agree it does happen, and that it's bad when it does.

All I'm adding to that statement is that people must be aware of these incidents and something must be done to stop them. NOW. Because the longer it goes on, the more we'll see people acting like idiots toward all cops, and decent people will be so disgusted they won't want to go into that profession.

It's not only unfair to communities to let these rogue cops continue with what they're doing, it's grossly unfair to good cops.

Eh, there you go again. It DOES happen - even when people put their hands up and are peaceful and cooperative.

The man was killed in the process of committing a felony. Let's wait for the facts.

Just another criminal who happened to also attend college, NOT a college student who was also a criminal.

What came first, cops or criminals? Rogue cops are a much smaller problem than the exponentially larger problem of criminals.

Clearly you learned everything you know about law enforcement from watching TV

Yes, it DOES happen. In this and other recent controversial cases of unarmed suspects or criminals, it didn't happen.

So far in this case, we know nothing about the alleged 'altercation.' I assume the victim was bizarre and wild, the cops on high alert. Whether the shooter cop feared for his or someone else's safety, no way to know.
