The agenda here is simple but as usual, those that bring one always miss the mark. Life is becoming cheap. In short order it will be worthless at the rate things are going. In some lame attempt to raise the value of black lives, the "black lives matter" agenda was started. What was the result? A backlash and efforts to point out the hypocrisy of that phrase. Now this guy kills off a family and I didn't mention his race in the OP. But this started out as an assault on a woman for whatever reason and ended with the killing of a family. The killer had to know his life was worth spit as soon as he started killing. Lives are mattering less and less. Pretty soon the only difference between what goes on in the middle east and here will be the method in which people are killed. Get rid of the guns and it WILL be the same. This guy killed because he wanted to kill, not because he had a gun. How many people must die before the idiotic distraction of gun control is over and the real problems are addressed? How about we ask the agenda driven gun control groups who can't admit that killing doesn't require a gun, it only requires a killer. That is the agenda.

This is another case, like the lunatic in Colorado, that the police caught red handed. Why are we going to spend countless hours and dollars to decide if he is mentally ill or gets the death penalty. Just take him behind a warehouse and pop him in the back of the head. No drama, no wasted tax dollar, quick & efficient.

Totally agree but it is expected that blacks will kill other blacks in their ghettos which is really sad.

Seems like this happens every week lately.
A guy in CA one week; teens in OK the next.
Now this guy.

Bottom line: family on family crime is a terrible but all too common occurrence.

A lot of gun nuts who kill, do so because it's convenient with a gun. Any other method of killing, a lot of them are too lazy for that. The gun is what makes lazy killers kill.

When they rob a convenience store, it's often because they're too lazy to hold down a job and want stuff they can't afford to buy because they don't have income from a job. The same laziness that makes them not do the work they would have to do to hold down a job, that same laziness makes them a lot more likely to kill with a gun than without. Without a gun, most of them wouldn't bother to rob a convenience store, because they're too lazy and too chicken. Gun nuts tend to be cowards who need the gun to feel brave enough to do their crimes. If they had to use a knife to kill their victims, it would be more work than with a gun, and they tend to be too lazy.

They also want to hurry and leave before the cops arrive. With the gun they can kill as an afterthought, on the spur of the moment, while hurrying to leave before the cops arrive. That's why having our whole country saturated with guns is what makes it such a violent place. Gun nuts say low-gun-ownership countries are more violent, but they're wrong about that. They use distorted statistics. Such as counting harassment as a violent crime in the low-gun-ownership countries and not in the high-gun-ownership countries.

The best solution might be to confiscate all the guns, especially from the cops. People say it will be hard because we have to take their guns over their dead bodies. But that's all talk, just like most internet forums are all talk. In reality, taking their guns is going to be almost as easy as taking candy from a baby.

But we have to do it slowly, over a period of years, starting with a constitutional amendment. Doing it fast would be rude.

Sorry to break the news to you but most people robbing convenience stores aren't gun nuts, they are simply criminals. That holds true for a majority of people using a gun to commit a crime. If not a gun, they would use something else, they did before guns were invented. Criminal activity did not start with the advent of guns, nor did murder. Have you noticed, just by chance that most torture does not involve the use of guns? Ever think about that?

Because the Constitution requires it.

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

No, he knew what he was doing. He has a long history of domestic violence. His prior wife was interviewed and she said he threatened to kill her and their kid. She wisely decided to divorce him. He managed to get in the house through an unlocked window so I'm not sure why the 2 adults in the home wasn't able to apprehend him. This SOB shot 8 people in the head but cowardly couldn't do it to himself.
