The CNN article has more details than the first link. You are right. You can't make this up. smh

Hopefully the Capitol Hill police officer will be investigated as well.

That will happened as a routine procedure any time a cops gun is reported discharged but her actions are criminal on so many levels.

Meh.. Article notes it was a 'domestic' incident.. I figure there's nuts out there in every occupation.. Not going to be overly surprised at one working in the White House.

The Capitol Police officer has some questions to answer as well.. Why is his service weapon left loaded in a bag? Eh.. ok.. So, this was a 'hookup' type situation.. At least there weren't kids in the house.

Just how many nuts working as Special Assistant to the President? What about background checks? If they are supposed to work for the police and to buy a gun, then why not for Special Assistants to the President.?

The people working in the Whitehouse must undergo the deepest background checks there are, they didn't pick up on this "nut". Tell me then, just what possible background check is going to identify and prevent anyone else from doing what she did, get a gun and shoot it illegally?
