When someone misappropriates a righteous slogan, the soldiers of justice sound off!
Even taking the best case scenario of what the slogan means, and even discounting (as much as possible) the false narrative that spawned it, the indignation they espouse is comical.
I wish people would stop attempting to do Ebonics when they try and mock black people. You only look like racist idiots.
Secondly, black lives do matter to people living in low income areas where the killing most often occurs. But if they're seen talking to the police, it puts their lives in jeopardy. And cops sometimes screw with people by saying they're not going to tell anyone who gave them the information, and then they do. Some of you are judging an entire ethnic group based on the thugs you see on the news every night.
Why is it I see no mainstream outlet or any individuals going after the racist hater who gives speeches in churches across the country saying things like, “So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling." And, "Who are we fighting today? It’s the people that carry the American flag. What flag do the police have? What flag flies over the non-Justice Department? What flag flies over the White House?”
Louis Farrakhan guy has a platform, for God's sake, and nobody seems to care about what he's inciting people to do.
Unlike the UK, it is very difficult to bring an indictment against someone for free speech. Unless law enforcement catches Farrakhan plotting to commit a crime, he'll be safe to say all kind of insightful things.
What Black Lives Matter movement really means is, ONLY Black Lives Matter.
No it doesn't, but the few racist left in the US will say and do anything to undervalue black empowerment & justice movements. It's quite pitiful that this type of thinking is still prevalent in some circles.

Wow, you really don't get it do you.
Empowerment in this country, is based on education and income, not stupid slogans and what the grievance merchants are promoting.
If the so called "blacklivesmatter" group wants to make a real impact, they should start where most black lives are genuinely undervalued.
More importantly, they should be focusing on the sources where most blacks lives are lost. That being the ghettos where blacks are killing each other at rates so far beyond anything involving whites. The fact/stats do not lie!
Instead they want to focus on the perpetual false excuses of why blacks are falling so far behind in this country, that being "whitey has his boot on the back of my neck, otherwise I'd be the CEO of IBM". Needless to say it is the same rubbish that has been peddled for years. I heard it when I was growing up, being referred to as being "held down by the man".
But in reality, "the man" provided free public transportation and school to help the poor youth to attain the tools necessary to empower themselves.
The question is, how do you reconcile that other poor minority groups(brown, yellow, etc.), some who cannot even speak English when they get here, are doing so much better than the average blacks?
I didn't miss the point. Everyone can see what you tried to do and failed at.
God bless your heart, you just can't see your own bigotry. There is no such thing as black or White supremacy, but you keep accusing anyone who disagrees with you as suffering from a White supremacy perspective. Open that "third eye" you like to talk about.
From a consequentialist standpoint, the black lives matter movement is going down the right path. BLM might not be the most polite of movements, but it's effective...
Effective at what? Apart from bullying Bernie Sanders what have they accomplished? Getting arrested for stupidity is not an accomplishment. Nor is it effective.

Black Lives Matter is just the black KKK.
