Unlike the video, in a "street fight", I won't fight fair. If it is to my advantage to outturn someone and come in on their backside, I will. Unlike what the video shows, I feel no compulsion to fight face to face.
And for the most part, I'm going off of my experience. In 24 years we never had a female involved in a shooting, we never had a female seriously injured by a suspect. This was in an agency of around 150, of which 10-15 Officers were female.
I can think of two here, off the top of my head. 1,200 Officer agency, both were 100 percent justified.
that is absolute nonsense. You just make stuff up and expect people to believe it, really? I spent 24 years in law enforcement and I am female and guess what... I never got beat up.
I was just thinking about that, not sure. Phoenix Metro has at least 2 dozen, not sure about the rest of the state. We're stretched pretty thin right now so I'd be surprised if we had (outside of Metro) any more than 20 / 25 or so.

That's a tough place to work, at least in certain areas- isn't it?
Yeah, I can't imagine doing remote duty. It has it's perks but doing 5 eight hour shifts and being on call when your off duty (mostly to handle fatal wrecks) takes its toll. I'm spoiled from working out of a city where there are so many Officers on all the time, you never get called out and backup is literally a minute away.
