Here we go again. Get the hell over it. Seriously. You people make me sick with your idiotic "outrage". What the hell did you *******s think was going to happen? He's the one that put himself in the public eye so deal with it. This happens literally every year where we have to listen to sensitive monkeys like you be "outraged" over a f****** Halloween costume. As if there aren't any REAL issues in this country this is what you people choose to get "outraged" over.
You over sensitive Americans have ruined our country with you politically correct crap. That's the one thing I agree with Trump about. People have no spine anymore, no thick skin. Free speech is becoming a thing of the past because everyone has to walk on eggshells fearing what they say. Get the hell over your paranoia and go be "outraged"over real issues other than some man-lady weirdo being made into a costume. You people make me sick. Retards.
Spot on!!!
If Jenner wanted to become a woman...fine. HE's the one that put it out there for the publicity. So, the public (to me) is free to act on it however they wish!
b) Bruce did not have to foist his issues on society as a whole, so he opened himself up to any and all criticism.
c) The real "demeaning and insulting" aspect of the Kardashian-Jenner circus is the huge sums of money the make from it. Most people with his "lifestyle choice" work years to pay for surgery, or don't have it at all.
I agree with the level of outrage. Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) took coming out as a very serious, if public event. Making fun/light of the situation, whether you agree with Caitlyn's lifestyle choice or not, seems to be in poor taste. Not to mention that it is demeaning and insulting to others who are going through this experience.
Just go to an adult costume store and you can find any number of celebrity masks and or costumes. Bruce/Caitlyn defined his/her celebrity, and put it out there for all to see, if you don't want to be a victim of gossip then keep your personal life more intimate rather than plastering your change on a nation magazine cover. What people find humorous about imitating his/her image is their business as long as it doesn't intend to libel him/her or illegally impersonate him/her.
"Don't like it don't but it" is part of the freedom we have and value in this country. Just because it's not "PC" doesn't mean it should be illegal. "Don't like it don't buy it" is the perfect mentality. YOU don't have to support it, but others have the freedom, too, and that's a good thing.
I'm sure people have dressed up as Laverne Cox for Halloween. No Halloween costume surprises me anymore.
So two years ago. That was already played out two years ago with black face. And yeah, people got their panties in a bunch over the black face and the world went on.
I am cis-gender. As a female, I only WISH I could dress up like Caitlyn. She is so beautiful, gorgeous and classy. I would look like a troll if I tried.
Do you look like a troll all the time or just when you dress up?
I don't see beautiful, gorgeous and classy when I see Jenner, I see someone with deep problems, sure, surgically altered, lot's of $$$$ of fancy clothes and lighting and makeup artists and stuff, an abnormal voice and REALITY TV has never been and never will be CLASSY. In person I would smile and nod because I'm polite and all, I'm not a mean person and I'm sure he's a nice person or she's a nice person and it's not my business anyway. But I don't see what you see.
That's besides the point. The offense is in that the costume is being made and that people going out Halloweening with their children, etc., risk seeing such an offensive costume. By your "its a costume" logic, Jews and others shouldn't be offended by someone walking down the street in a Nazi uniform with a gas mask on his face.
OMG!...people dress like slutty French maids, prostitutes, Freddie Krugar, Frankenstein, zombies and Dracula as well.
BTW - I gotta get me an Obama mask this year for the sheer sake of offending someone.
Every Halloween we see costumes of those in the biggest news stories. People who dress up actually go through the pop culture of the year to try and think of somebody they can dress up as. It has nothing to do with mocking.
You're making a big deal out of nothing here.
