I don't pay much attention to gun laws because I don't have a gun. I don't really know how I feel about people needing to have guns in the car, why is it necessary? What is you move here? What is the way you would have to get your gun here legally?
Say you have a vacation home in NH and you are driving there from NC. You will inevitably drive through NJ. At your vacation home you are a member of a shooting range or you just value your right to self defense. To jail with you?
You are moving from NH to CA and your firearms are traveling with you in your car. To jail with you?
I drive through NJ regularly for work. I have my LTC in MA. Why exactly should my fundamental right not extend into NJ?
If guns were the problem the white homicide rate would be severely higher. Certainly higher than the black homicide rate.
I know the black population is more violent that is because they are poorer in the main and have been discriminated against for centuries. Not rocket science.

You mean it has nothing to do with their gun ownership rates?
Therefore ban guns because of blacks? Thats not racist or anything...
But add guns to the mix and more people die like you say your country isn't more violent but guns kill people more easy. Glasgow in Scotland is the most violent city in the UK, mainly white btw, it's poor areas used to be rife with violence with knifes used very regularly but guess what the murder rate never got above 5 per 100,000 - you throw guns into that city, especially tens years ago the murder rate would rocket.

So we just toss out fundamental rights because people are killing each other? Never mind the 2A, what about my property rights? I have firearms from my great grandparents, those heirlooms should be taken away?
The only guns in my posession that have likely killed? Arisaka from my great uncle, quite likely killed Americans, Mosin Nagant from grandfather, likely killed Germans. My AR? Effective at poking holes in paper. I am a peace loving law abiding person. Why is it you wish violence upon me?
