No thinking person is even suggesting confiscation of firearms legally owned. Controlling WHO would be legally entitled to own one and their usage as the SWISS very aggressively do is what people wanting to discuss.
Bingo? This person is advocating for banning things already in possession. What do you do with things that are already in peoples possession and you ban them? The word is confiscate.

I love it when people try to claim that European gun laws only work because they're mostly white. Why is it that cities like Paris, Amsterdam are still safer than the vast majority of American cities when they're very, very ethnically diverse? The murder rate of Paris is like 1.2/100k. Chicago is 15/100k. NYC is around 3.8/100k. Seattle which is considered a safe American city is 3.4/100k.
Show us the data to prove that they Euro cities are "very, very ethnically diverse," por favor.
Gun control to me means use 2 hands. Quite honestly, I think EVERY red-blooded American (who is not a felon) should properly train themselves in the use and handling of firearms. There would be less accidents, and it may just put a dent in crime."
Agree... We also need to account for the extremely intellectually challenged in our mist. You know, the morons who leave a loaded, unlocked gun on a bedstand for the 2 year old to grab. I think women, in particular, should have a gun and train themselves on how to safely use it, as a gun is the "great equalizer' - protection against a bigger, armed person(s).
