So now we are all holding our breath waiting to see if another news crew on a low risk assignment where police are not likely to be around are murdered. Just to see if the reporter/story set him off or do we have a much bigger problem.
He looks black? Are you serious? Wow. People reaching these days. It's clear the guy has lighter skin. White people I guess just can't admit they also commit murders and crimes as well.
And there it is I sadi he looks Hispanic or black to me ...wow guess some people have to play the race card all the time . Jeeze a petes pull up your big panties and re read the post . I said nothing about white people don't commit crimes .
I am not being an *****, but if these twos actually brought guns of their owns, how could they protect themselves for being shot?
They were probably got shot already before they could shoot back. After all, I am pretty sure this happened out of the blue.
Again RIP for the two.
And may the family and friends, and the by's of the anchor are given strength in this difficult time.
Lots of companies have policies against guns in the workplace.
I just got assigned with having to do storm damage assessment for utilities in South FL during and after this upcoming hurricane, and our safety briefing included awareness of lootings and holdups during major storms. I asked if I could carry my gun, and the stern answer was "No, it's against company protocol."
I swear...we need a news black-out for a month or 2 to let all the "nuts" calm down. Once something like this happens you read about copy-cat shootings for weeks afterwards. Or did they always happen but the news never traveled beyond local areas?
I think that when these mentally unbalanced people see a news story about shooters they think "I can do better than that"...and so it goes.
A tragedy all around, for sure.
