You people, meaning those who like to race bait, need to cut the nonsense. You forgot to mention he's a crazed killer who just added that as a tipping block excuse, he also said he was influenced by several mass murderers of whom he referred to one as, that's my boy for his killing rates.
See quote, farther below, taken from the article you linked if at all any of the article is factual, I haven't pursued the issue as so far what I've been reading here is just sickening. my sympathies go out to the families and friends of those involved in this situation. Like with other crimes of this nature there aren't any winners except in this case it appears those who enjoy adding fuel to a fire feeling a warped sick sense k glee for at the expense of other's pain.
Flanagan also mentions the Virginia Tech mass shooter Seung Hui Cho.
He calls the madman 'his boy' while also applauding the Columbine High School killers.
"Also, I was influenced by Seung–Hui Cho. That's my boy right there. He got NEARLY double the amount that Eric Harris and Dylann Klebold got…just sayin.'
Also in the letter, which he at one point refers to as his 'Suicide Note for Friends and Family', Flanagan lists grievances including racial discrimination at work as well as sexual harassment and bullying.
He writes that he's been attacked by black men and white women as he discusses the difficulties of going through life as a gay man of color.
While Flanagan says the Charleston shootings were the tipping point for him, it's clear he's been unwell for some time--and he admits as much.
'My anger has been building steadily...I've been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!' "
But the Charleston shooting was a hate crime, yet people rambled mental illness.
What precludes it from being both? Its not like there is some mystical divider that prohibits one from being bat**** crazy AND blatantly racist and discriminatory.
For some reason, it's very politically incorrect to say this. But, of course, "black lives matter" is all the rage now. Lots of anti-white double standards when it comes to race.
Like I said earlier, the dynamics of the thread changed as soon it was confirmed the shooter wasn't white.
It's both, in both cases. And the Va. Tech shooter, whom this guy apparently idolized.
All sick. All mental. All races.
I don't why white people don't think black people can't be mental ill that bothers me even as a white guy.
