I DO NOT think its okay to have to cower from public servants. As a matter of fact I think it stinks like a big pile of horse manure that people accept it.

No, its supposed to imply that they are public servants. Many people forget that and somehow believe that police are above us. They aren't.

No dramatics. Unless I avert my eyes like a good little subordinate I deserve to get stopped. Bull****.

so let me ask this....what reason could there possibly be for staring down a cop? unless you are the mindset of "i get to do what i want to do and if its my right i will do it"....if that is the answer, have at it....you better have your license/regis/ins card ready, lol

Maybe I want to see if its someone I know. Maybe I want to see if its a woman or man cop. Maybe I'm just curious about what the person looks like.

Bottom line making direct eye contact with someone isn't illegal to do in this country. Even if that someone is a cop.

"Made eye contact" and "staring down" are not the same thing.

That's not a question anyone has the right to ask. Its not against any Law. If that's the reason I get stopped, then its not me, who better be ready, and have a darn good reason. Its easy to intimidate people who won't stand their ground out of fear. Its a lot different if you get the right true believing American. Badge or no Badge, you are in for a rough ride.
