The majority of Americans don't want this, Congress will vote against it and yet he continues on.
Thank god he'll be out of office in 15 months.
A huge percentage of the population are ignorant and a bit crazy. Yet we carry on, as we must, despite them. There will be another democrat in office following Obama, so all will be well.
And predictably forgetting about all those fine democratic folks in congress that voted for this action.
Thank you for making my point.

That is called SUPPORTING the chosen President! As he was the one that was elected to make these decisions. Something the congress forgot about when a black man took the oath. Thanks for making MY point.
I wish I could share your optimism. But unfortunately, the results of the 2008 and 2012 elections prove you wrong.
Well we all will just have to wait and see. Either way this is a win for Obama, and it will not be "reversed" on "day one" by anyone running this country! Of that we can be certain.
Care to explain which military actions around the world? Which ones has he done unilaterally? and which ones have made the World worst now then when you first were elected?
Last I remember he ended the 2 wars caused by Bush, killed Bin Laden and hasn't started any new Wars in the 7 years he has been in office. The fact that he is using diplomacy with Iran & 5 other nations speaks volumes. If the "right-wing" Netanyahu "pillow munchers" are scared of this deal let Israel with their nukes & the $3 Billion dollar US yearly aid deal with it on their own.
I am wondering the same thing..."military actions around the world..." Gimme a break...

How can we "be certain"?
This is not a peace treaty. Any President can simply reverse it, and some have promised to do so.

On that we can agree. You say it and smile; I say it and cringe.

The Legislative Branch is a separate, co-equal branch of the Federal Government. It is not their job to rubber-stamp whatever the president wants. Oh, but good job on accusing them all of racism.
