"Deer and bear" are not "small game" …

"Small" game means like rabbits and squirrels and such ...

These idiots won't be happy until all of the lions are dead and gone. Some people are just sick.

Generally hunters want populations to survive. How can one continue hunting without the animals? Poachers are the real threat.

I don't know how this dentist was able to go back to work with the major target on his back.

I'd be in hiding indefinitely. How do you know someone won't try to go into his office and shoot him or something?

I'm assuming there has to be some sort of security or something..

The Dentist is smart, he realizes all these idiots will just move on to the next media hyped story in a few weeks anyway and forget about this.

Hmmm...that's curious.
Why would hunters want their prey to disappear?
Perhaps you don't know what you're talking about.

Villagers who get eaten by lions and cattle farmers
may want them gone, but that's another story.
