Quick, post up a picture of them from when they were 12.

We had a local "football kid" bench over 500lbs multiple times in a row.

Imagine if that had been big Tim Riggins that struck the official from behind. The official's body and head would have rolled in completely different directions.

The path these kids are on is a bad one. They may have thrown their football careers away.

What's more disturbing is the assistant coach apparently egged on his players by stating that the coach cheated them and needed to pay for it.
Sadly, when all else fails, play the race card. Disgusting.

As much as I like football, I believe things like targeting a player on the other team that has an injury happens all of the time. Ask some former football players about their experiences. It is a sport that encourages aggression.

I'm not buying the "racial slurs" angle at this point.

Especially now that it is coming out that the assistant coach egged them to hit the ref for "cheating them".

If you follow the chain of logic that the guy made a bad call, or just one they didn't like and then they are gunning for him it's just a little too neat that oh no, there was some completely different reason we did it despite being told to do it by our coach because of the call.
