That's medically obese? Really? Are you just really short? No offense.

Most people throughout history haven't been overweight at all! It's only a recent (last 1,000 years) phenomenon due to specialization of labor & sugary foods in the 20th century.

I'd pit my level of fitness and mental toughness against yours every day of the week and twice on Sundays. And yet I can find it in my heart to treat fat people with the dignity and respect they deserve as human beings.

I understand it's easier to just dislike people because of how they look. But for anyone interested in applying a little critical thought, your approach falls woefully short of being acceptable.

It's because BMI is the standard metric for defining overweight or obese. And it's a crap metric.

5'9" 235lbs, BMI of 36.2

Yes, I am obese. Hence why fat shaming hurts me and many others more than you or anyone else realises. It hurts like hell.

Yep. But that is me now at 235lbs. Was 270lbs in.January, but any thing could push me back to where I was. Pregnancy, an injury, new medication, something that pushes into another depression spiral. I've been a size 10 and a size 26. It's why I don't judge others, no matter what size they are. I judge their personalities, and possibly their taste in clothes. I'll admit I judge men in leggings.
