From the article.

The video is edited. You don't see the initial conversation when the deputy approaches the car.
We don't know what transpired that caused the women to make this comment, so I'll hold off judging her.

We also don't know if this was during school hours or not, so we don't know if her speeding caused any unsafe situation.

30 over the posted speed is unsafe at any hour. It's the kid you don't see that you'll hit.

You don't speed in a school zone unless it's an emergency--there are playgrounds at school kids are there.

Personally, if I were that cop and she had that attitude, that $600 would've turned into a much heavier fine as I would've thrown the book at her. Going by the ~2:30pm time stamp and date on the video, I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that the school zone speed limit would be in effect at that time on a Tuesday.

I hope she's identified and publicly shamed. Of course, if that happens, her backpedaling would probably go something along the lines of, "I was misunderstood" or "those words were taken out of context."

Default Driver Pulled Over For Speeding Tells Deputy: 'No Wonder You People Get Shot!

What a 'classy' woman. Far more restraint than I would have shown, but that's why I'm not a cop.

Driver Pulled Over For Speeding Tells Deputy: 'No Wonder You People Get Shot!'

Quote:
The woman was pulled over on September 1 for traveling 51mph in a 20mph school zone, the sheriff’s office said.

Dashcam video shows an officer approaching her car before the woman can be heard saying: “No wonder you people get shot, you’re absolute a**holes!”

The deputy responds: “Okay, thank you ma’am.”

She answered: “You’re welcome.”

Well, isn't she special? I guess the officer didn't recognize she's above the law, thus her anger.

Let's pray she doesn't have kids.
