Beer is made from water, so that counts. Beer is also made from barley and hops, which are both plants. So beer also counts as a salad.

Busch is cheap beer, and I'm not just talking about the price.

Yes, veggies are important too. You can't live on water alone.

D Soda is #4 on the stroke causing list. I gave up sugar, D Coke, and alchol, about 5 years ago. The D. Coke was by far the hardest. I am convinced of the addictive properties. Have two friends: One drank at least a few liters per week and had a stroke in her 30's (worked out a lot) and the other is on heart meds for life. Both D Coke drinkers and doctors told both it was the D Coke. Aspartame? Caramel Coloring? Something in there is really, really bad.

I preach to people two things: You need water, period. 2nd, If it was made in a building, you do not need to eat it. Just take stuff grown in the earth or on a tree. Grass fed? Even better.

Mansanto? EVIL!

Since that day 5 years ago... lost 30lbs (not working out that much), no joint pain and no panic attacks. Sleep WAY better. I'm convinced that it's food over exercise for health. People that say, "I'm working out so I can party tonight," are just lying to themselves. You just can't put certain things in your body over time and expect to live.

I do not allow sugar in my classroom, either. Snacks? Fruit, water, protein. No Gatorade. Studies are now linking poor eating to mental illness and behavior problems. Have taught 23 years and have seen patterns.

Food (chemical) companies have a lot of power in the US. There is a method here to harvest wheat that other countries do not allow because it's so toxic. It's all about $$$$$. Go back and plant a garden. Eat what you can grow.

I googled it. There isn't any stated linkage between Coka/soda and baby enamel. But there are instances of GENETIC issues and other things they're theorizing about.

Some message boards even came up with women disputing that it was their "fault" their babies had this condition and having them treated by several prominent medical people around the country. One lady said her baby/toddler had a disaster where the dentist wanted her to ROOT CANAL AND CAP all the baby's teeth!

What a nightmare.

Some do NEED juice if not getting calories and nutrients. And milk if no other proteins.

I drink one can of diet cola every second day during the summer...seriously, that's all I can handle. Never been much of a soft drink consumer. In the winter, I don't touch soft drinks at all.

Me late sainted mum never bought soft drinks, and when I was fourteen and had my first Coke, I didn't care for it.

If I'm going to pour excess fluids into my body, let it be the nectar of the Gods, good ol' Canadian beer! (Weekends only, though!)

Anything in excess is poisonous. 2 gallons of any drink is very bad.

You dictate to other parents what they can feed their children?
