Yes, there are many, many fine black people in this country who live productive lives, raise their children to have good morals and beliefs, and to respect others. It is very important for people, like Richard Sherman, to say the words he said, because, coming from white people, it is taken as racism. When a black says those same words they have much more importance and impact.
I totally respect him for his courage and desire to improve the lives of his fellow black Americans. This is what it is going to take to effect any significant change in their lives and how they are perceived as a whole.

I totally agree. What gives racists a free pass is the prevalence of black on black violence. Police discipline must be maintained the same way military discipline must be maintained. We don't condone the military going on looting or raping sprees. Same way we don't condone white police officers abusing their authority, whether against blacks or against whites.
But intra-black violence does more to hold down the average black person than the one-off police officer outrage. If school students are concentrating on what rival "Crips" or "Bloods" are doing they're not concentrating on their studies. And a school atmosphere were brawls break out regularly is not conducive to learning either.
Sadly, street gangs substitute for parental discipline, of which, in single-family homes there is little. Incidentally I'm repping this post, for saying what's necessary.
I agree, but the whole point of BLM was about the Justice System not charging/prosecuting police officers, also black on black violence is at one of its lowest rates across the country.
None of this is true. Black on black violence is at the highest proportional rate in U.S. history.
BLM wants police officers dead. They have explicitly asked for this, and some BLM members have obliged. They obviously don't want Justice Department investigations, they already do that as a matter of course with every high profile shooting.

Big surprise there. They kill each without thinking twice over the slightest perceived "dis". Why would anyone think they'd have any qualms about dropping the hammer on a law enforcement officer?
If the black community still uses cons like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson as their reps nothing will change or get fixed. You can force the country to bend over continuously to the demands of these hacks.
Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson are only there to enrich themselves by trying to look like superheroes but are really supervillains.
