The officer ... A five year veteran.. Originally from Guyana... From a family of police officers in his home country... He worked a housing unit.. Helping with people in poverty everyday .
It is said he always smiled everyday

When it rains God will cry for you
May St Michael always walk with you
RIP

NYPD has 4 cops lost within the past 11 months. Very tough time to be a cop in NYC now.

How can this happen? It's just about impossible to legally buy a gun in NYC!

In my 36 years, I don't remember there being such a hatred towards police than there have been in these past 7 years.

My heartfelt condolences to Officer Holder's family and friends.

Quote:

Patrick Lynch, head of the New York Patrolmen's Benevolent Association,
called for support from the community.

"New York City police officers every day, we go out and carry ourselves like
superheroes on the streets," he said. "But the reality is, when we're attacked,
we bleed, when we bleed, we die, and when we die, we cry... these police
officers need your support as we bury our fellow police officer, but it can't
end there. We need your support every day, on every corner, in every
neighborhood, so we can continue to carry ourselves like superheroes, so we can
save you and protect you."
New York police officer shot in head, killed

This is the first time I find myself agreeing with Lynch.

Rest in Peace Officer Holder
