Apparently a broadcaster displayed the Nazi form of the Jewish star. This was emblazened on every Jew as part of the dehumanization campaign that prefaced the Holocaust. Not a good way to memorialize the Jews' holiest day.
What I do not get is how anyone could not know that is something that is connected to the holocaust, did they have the mumps when they covered that in history class?
Looks like the star of david to me, once again the jews are too easily offended. I'm going to go finish my swastika artwork, don't get offended, it is based on native american art, not german.
Saying that that is a "Star of David" is disingenuous. It is a yellow Star of David with the word "Jude" emblazoned on a blue-striped background similar to the uniforms used for concentration camp prisoners. The yellow "Jude" patch was first used alone to identify and isolate Jews in Nazi Germany, and to couple that with the uniform-looking background is incredibly crass, especially on Yom Kippur. Sorry, Fail.
You would revel in a repeat of history between 1939 and 1945.
So I could be like my grandfather and fight the Nazis? Get over yourself.
