Yes the same people that enslave them in the first place. How sweet of them.

Shouldn't the African countries where black tribes sold those people into slavery be paying?

BTW, how do you keep the people who were not slaves from receiving benefits?

You won't get a perfect balance but you can at least help even the score.
What about the British who had ancestors that were enslaved in Africa way back thousands of years ago? Why should they pay anything to help someone who had ancestors they may have enslaved their ancestors?

------------

Sorry, but the idea of reparations for what happened to people who have been long dead is absurd.

Might as well flush it down the toilet. That money would end up in the bank account of corrupt politicians or as high-end cars, mansions and swimming pools.

Probably best for each person to write themselves a check for $10 million for reparations.

If we go this route, if you ever had an ancestor that was enslaved, murdered or imprisoned by another group, you get paid while also paying for any act of any ancestor.

It wall works out this way.

I'm sure the English could give them all a boat trip back to their home land and $4.00 in exchange for that little piece of dirt that's going to waste.
