I think it's like pen and pin. Evidently some people pronounce it differently but I sure don't.

Still waiting for an answer on this.

It is apparent from the interviews in the video that it is an obscure non mandatory program that almost none of the student body knows about.

Ze OP won't answer definitively, will just give vous/moi the standard "messenger" "shoot" "no argument" response.

How about having the manners to address a person how they choose to be addressed? Many people expect to be addressed as Mr. X, or Uncle Bob, how is this any different?

The PC club at the Student Union of UNC-Charlotte is actively encouraging students to use these pronouns.

Well the Lord of the Rings club at my university actively encouraged students to take a Hobbit name. I can assure you that my time as Drogo the Tipsy is but a distant memory. And shock of shocks, I bet many of the 40,000 students at my university didn't take a Hobbit name at all!!!

Enough is enough. I'm all for equality. People shouldn't be denied access or denied rights based on their sexual preferences. But there becomes a point when you grow weary of all the PC crap. Someone will always be offended by something. You know what the answer is? Ignore it and get on with your life.

It's the same as those "R-Word" protesters. Retarded is a word. I'm not going to go up to a mentally handicapped person and call them retarded. But if I use the word in the sentence "This homework assignment is retarded" don't go all PC on me... because frankly, I don't care.
