Just a note, Umpqua Community College is not a "gun-free" zone as far as I'm aware.
Their website is down so we can't search their handbooks, but Roseburg is a somwhat more conservative part of Oregon. From what I know of their community college, it's not likely to have a "gun-free" policy. If it's anything like my campus, they probably ban open carry but allow concealed carry with a valid CHL.

Well, since we don't know the facts here yet, I'll just ask laws would have prevented Adam Lanza from killing all those people?
The facts here are totally different from SHES. There is actual blood, police activity, ambulances, dead bodies and other signs a shooting actually occurred.
Lanza never existed and no one was shot at the empty school at Sandy Hook. Look at the news reports and take note of the differences. The same goes for Columbine and VT. Blood and dead bodies are evidence.
Words from bobbleheads mean nothing with no proof of such.
The OP suggested that the second amendment made us freer, I merely pointed out that ready access to weaponry isn't much of a measure of 'freedom'. Especially when in general Americans are more afraid (not without some justification) of gun violence than people in most other developed countries.
I'm not afraid of gun violence at all. I'm more afraid of other kinds of violence that I could never defend against without a gun.

The killer was reportedly another young white male in his 20s. With so many angry white males America, despite being the most privileged group in American society, it's logical to predict that the frequency of these types of incidents will increase exponentially in the coming decades, as whites become a minority and the anger lever escalates.
I don't know anything about investigations so I'm hoping someone on here does. Why are they not saying who the shooter is?
